Refund/Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be no later than February 3, 2023, to secure a refund and must be made via EventBrite (see link above). After February 3, there will be no refunds (including no-shows).

Travel and Hotel

Attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements and hotel accommodations. This event is during the region's high season for tourism, so book your hotel room as soon as possible.

We have arranged for a limited number of courtesy rooms at THesis Hotel Miami and Aloft Coral Gables hotel. If those blocks have been filled, you will need to book a room separately with the hotel.

Approximately a 25-minute drive from the Miami International Airport (MIA) and a 45-minute drive from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL)
The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle that stops at UM's Metrorail Station. From there, it is a 5- to 10-minute walk through campus to the conference facility. The shuttle operates Monday-Friday from 7 am to 8 pm. The shuttle loops approximately every 20 minutes, with pick-up at the hotel's valet station.
